Team Bio: There are a lot of situations when you need a cock block. Foxes move fast and they are hot to trot for cocks. Creeping through the farms out in the Okefenokee swamp. All the way to Ohio so you better block your cocks!
Team History: Cock Block is excited to submit our first ever bid to Poultry Days 2016. Although we have not attended this tournament together in previous years, most of our players have participated in PDays in the past, and are longing for a return to the hallowed fields of Ohio as one single, chicken-eating team. Our team is shaping up to be both fun and competitive, and we pride ourselves in our medley of ultimate communities and talent. Several Atlanta teams are represented on the Cock Block roster, including members from Atlanta Ozone, Chain Lightning, Outbreak, and Bucket. We have a strong core of Atlanta natives, led by the ladies of Ozone: Katherine Wooten, Emily Lloyd (2016 captain), and Meg Harris (2016 captain), among others. We also have several Chain Lightning players committed to the chicken, including Jay Clark, Elliott Erickson, and Christian Olsen. While Atlanta has the most real estate in our roster, we have west coast representation from Seattle, including transplants Nate Castine (Sockeye + Truck Stop), Allan Laviolette (Chain + Hustle), Sean Sears (Bucket + Hustle), and Jinny Eun (Riot + Phoenix). The final portion of the Cock Block roster comes from the capital city itself. Truck Stop and Team USA members Nicky Spiva and Markham Shofner will be jumping on board the Cock Block train to Ohio this year, and bringing some of their DC friends with them. We have multiple Callahan nominees, 5+ Atlanta Hustle members, multiple Turkey Tourney championship teams, U23 Worlds champions, too many quarters/semis/finals Nationals appearances to count, and that's not even saying anything about our impressively splendid off-field skills. We represent some of our favorite frisbee cities across the country, but it's an undisputed fact that on the second weekend of June each year, Versailles, Ohio is the frisbee capital of the world, and we want to be there to celebrate our cock-blocking love of all things chicken and frisbee. We appreciate your consideration of our bid, and hope to see you in Versailles in June!
