| Team Bio: | A long time ago, in a land far far away....A team of explorers found themselves stranded on the infamous frozen Tundra of the Great White North. As food and supplies began to dwindle, so to did their hopes of survival. Until one night, by the light of the Aurora Borealis, they saw them.......the ever elusive brood of Tundra Chickens. A sign, some cried; a symbol of hope others whispered. Legend states that by worshiping the Tundra Chickens, prosperity and long life will rain down from the gods. LONG LIVE TUNDRA CHICKEN....That is...until the the reality of starvation set in. 2 hours later, spirits were lifted as the first meal of Frozen Tundoori Chicken was served, and the glorious recipe has been passed on for generations...uhhh the last 2 seasons |
| Team History: | Tundra is part of a larger tiered competitive mixed system based in Toronto. We are supported by two other teams, Zen and MMV. Our broader goal is to help support the growth of mixed ultimate in Toronto, and the larger Canadian community It has been three years since our team's inception, with Andy Milne leading the way since day 1. We have qualified to the Canadian nationals tournament the last 2 years, and we hope to use Poultry Days as the first step in making it 3 years in a row. |
